CTSA Initiatives

Yale, in partnership with our community allies and the FDA Office of Minority Health and Health Equity, is driving forward initiatives to promote racial equity in clinical trials through community engagement and empowerment. For over a decade, under the leadership of the CTSA, the Yale Center for Clinical Investigation (YCCI) and our Cultural Ambassadors have championed efforts to enhance diverse participation in clinical trials and address critical health disparities. By working alongside the FDA and local communities, we bridge the gap between researchers and patients—the vital participants in clinical research—and strive to ensure that these partnerships become a cornerstone of our work at YCCI.
