    Biography

Wen-Wei Liao, born and raised in Taiwan, is a postdoctoral associate in Dr. Ira Hall’s lab at Yale School of Medicine. His work focuses on human pangenomics, structural variant detection, and the development of bioinformatics tools. As a member of the Human Pangenome Reference Consortium, he has contributed to building and refining the human pangenome reference, a resource designed to overcome the limitations of traditional linear genome models and advance understanding of genetic variation in health and disease.
