Overview
Stephen Possick, MD, is cardiologist with a particular interest in the connection between the cardiovascular system and chronic liver disease. Chronic liver disease can harm the cardiovascular system, including a higher heart rate and greater cardiac output.
Dr. Possick attended medical school at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine and completed his residency, chief residency, and cardiology fellowship at Yale. He received the Betsy Winters House Staff Teaching Award from Yale School of Medicine and the Samuel Kushlan Award for outstanding patient care.
He is an assistant professor of clinical medicine at Yale School of Medicine.
