Rebecca Vanasse-Passas, MD, is a medical oncologist specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of cancers of the digestive system. She employs a variety of treatment approaches tailored to the needs of each patient, ensuring they receive the most effective care possible.

As an assistant professor of medicine at Yale School of Medicine, she is actively involved in research exploring the impact of palliative care consultations on oncology patients.

Dr. Vanasse-Passas completed her medical training at Albany Medical College, followed by a residency and fellowship at Long Island Jewish Medical Center. She further specialized in hospice and palliative care during a fellowship at North Shore University Hospital.
