    Biography

    Morten Lee is an MD-PhD student at the Yale School of Medicine, originally from Madison, Wisconsin. He completed his undergraduate degree in Chemistry at the University of Chicago, where he developed targeted cancer therapies and studied immunological responses to chemotherapy in the lab of Dr. Wenbin Lin. Before coming to Yale, Morten was part of a Series A-backed startup working at the intersection of machine learning and molecular biology to develop nucleic acid medicines. His current research interests stem from his interdisciplinary background and lie in harnessing computational tools to uncover disease mechanisms, outcomes, and treatments from multimodal biomedical data. In his free time, Morten enjoys playing Ultimate Frisbee, skiing, running and finding new music.
