    Biography

    Dr. Daniel Prior is a pediatric hematologist oncologist and transplant physician, specializing in the care of children with hematologic malignancies and those requiring hematopoietic cell transplantation. This group of patients includes those with high-risk and recurrent malignancies, bone marrow failure syndromes, and hemoglobinopathies, among others. He leads the Bone Marrow Failure program at Yale. Dr. Prior is a dedicated educator who enjoys teaching, collaborating with, and mentoring learners of all levels.

    Dr. Prior grew up in Connecticut and has been back in Connecticut since starting medical school. He and his wife have been at Yale since starting residency and are proud to serve as faculty for the Yale community.
