Georgian Implementation Science Fogarty Training (GIFT) Program

Implementation Science & Biostatistics Summer Bootcamp

An intensive training program hosted by the Faculty of Medicine & School of Public Health, Ilia State University, in collaboration with Yale School of Medicine & Yale School of Public Health

This bootcamp training will bring together international public health professionals, researchers, early-career scientists, and implementation science practitioners for four days of focused training and international exchange.

We welcome participants from Georgia and other low- and middle-income countries. The program will include morning plenary sessions and specialized afternoon training tracks, designed to accommodate different levels of experience:

• Implementation Science – Core Foundations
• Biostatistics – Core Principles
• Biostatistics – Advanced Methods

The training will be held in Tbilisi, Georgia, from July 21 to 24, 2026. Participation in the training is free of charge and includes meals during the four-day sessions. Travel and accommodation costs are the responsibility of participants.
