    The role of Granulin, a TLR-9 protein cofactor, and cytidine deaminase deficiency in the development of autoimmune diabetes in NOD mice

    • Performed intraocular exsanguination, oral gavage, urinalysis and glucose analysis on murine models.
    • Extracted Pancreatic, Mesenteric lymph nodes, as well as whole pancreas and Peyer’s patch samples.
    • Performed PCR, qPCR, flow cytometry, Western Blot, and DNA analysis.

    • Fluent in IHC, IF, H&E staining, cell culture, confocal microscopy, and Western Blotting techniques

    • Analyzed the effects of folic acid supplementation on tumor proliferation within a murine model.
    • Employed the use of both in vivo knockout murine models and in vitro tumor colonies.
    • Responsible for maintaining and genotyping a murine breeding program.
    • Routinely preformed both Classical and RT-PCR analyses of cell lines and study mice
    • Isolated RNA and performed cDNA transformation of murine genetic materials.
