Overview
Richard Moscarelli, MD, is an obstetrician and gynecologist specializing in the conservative treatment of abnormal bleeding and fibroids, menopause and perimenopause, management of abnormal Pap smears, and infertility.
He also addresses healthy pregnancies and those complicated by conditions such as preterm labor, hypertension, diabetes, and preeclampsia, a condition characterized by high blood pressure during pregnancy, which can lead to serious complications if not properly managed.
Dr. Moscarelli serves as an associate clinical professor in the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology & Reproductive Sciences at Yale School of Medicine. He is dedicated to educating the next generation of health care providers, leading the Ob/Gyn Clerkship and mentoring students and residents in various clinical settings, including the operating room and labor and delivery.
Dr. Moscarelli received his medical training from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons and completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Yale New Haven Hospital.
