    Biography

    Francisco Expósito studied Biology in the University of Navarra (Pamplona, Spain. 2011-2015), where he also did his Master's Degree in Cancer Biomedical Research (2015-2016). Then, he completed his PhD in the Center for Applied Medical Research (CIMA), where he studied novel strategies to increase the therapeutic efficacy of chemotherapy and immunotherapy in non-small cell lung cancer (2016-2020). He also holds a Master's degree in Biostatistics and Bioinformatics from the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya and the University of Barcelona (2021). After finishing his PhD he joined the Department of Pathology, Anatomy and Physiology of the University of Navarra as teaching support staff (2020-2021). Then in January 2022 he has joined the Politi Lab as a Postdoctoral Fellow to study distinct mechanisms of tumor progression and drug sensitivity in lung cancer.
