    Dr. Pamela Kunz on Yale Cancer Answers

    On September 15, 2024, on Yale Cancer Answers, Dr. Eric Winer interviewed Pamela Kunz, MD, Associate Professor of Internal Medicine (Medical Oncology) and Director of the Center for Gastrointestinal Cancers at Smilow Cancer Hospital and Yale Cancer Center. Dr. Kunz is an international leader in the treatment and clinical research of patients with GI malignancies and neuroendocrine tumors (NETs).

    On this episode of Yale Cancer Answers, Dr. Kunz discusses her particular focus on the care of patients with NETs, a rare cancer that can occur anywhere in the body, but most often arises in the lungs, appendix, small intestine, rectum, and pancreas. She has developed broad investigative programs in the field of NETs, encompassing clinical trials, population sciences, and translational correlates.
