Each year, Connecticut Magazine recognizes exceptional physicians in its annual “Top Doctors” issue. The 2023 list features more than 250 Yale Medicine physicians who were selected by their peers as the best in their fields, which includes 12 members of the Orthopaedics & Rehabilitation faculty.
The magazine partnered with Castle Connolly, a leading national health care research firm, to compile the annual list of the state’s top physicians. Castle Connolly’s online nominations process is open to all licensed physicians in the United States, who nominate doctors in any medical specialty and in any part of the country. Once nominations have been submitted, Castle Connolly’s physician-led team of researchers follows a rigorous screening process to select top doctors on both the national and regional levels.
