Fellows will rotate through Yale New Haven Health and will gain exposure to microsurgical breast reconstruction, lymphatic reconstruction, and lower extremity reconstruction with optional experience in microsurgical head and neck reconstruction, peripheral nerve, and replantation/revascularization surgery. All breast free flaps performed are perforator flaps, including DIEP, PAP, DUG, LAP, and TDAP. There is also opportunity to participate in non-microsurgical breast, abdominal wall, spine, and other post-oncologic or traumatic reconstruction at the preference of the fellow.

The fellow will participate in weekly grand rounds, monthly indications/quality assurance conferences, journal clubs, and other teaching conferences and will have access to an abundance of research opportunities. The fellow will have protected time to attend the annual American Society for Reconstructive Microsurgery meeting.

- Dr. Jordan Wiebe is originally from Oklahoma and earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Oklahoma. She went on to receive her medical degree from Oklahoma State University College of Medicine, where she graduated with honors as a member of Sigma Sigma Phi. Dr. Wiebe completed her residency in Integrated Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Indiana University School of Medicine and is currently pursuing a fellowship in Microsurgery here at Yale University. Outside of medicine, Dr. Wiebe enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband, Ryan, and their two dogs, Cooper and Penny.
