Yale New Haven Children’s Hospital
Yale New Haven Children's Hospital is specially designed and created for children. The design is comforting for young patients and enhances the ability to focus more fully on their developmental, physical, and emotional needs. The hospital comprises a pediatric-only emergency department, recently updated operating center, diagnostic imaging, a multidisciplinary specialty outpatient clinic, a 50+ bed newborn intensive care unit, a pediatric intensive care unit, and many other inpatient units. A heliport on top of the building provides direct access to the Pediatric Emergency Department and Pediatric Operating Center.
