Student Funding

Students in the Microbiology Graduate Program are assured of financial support for at least four years of study. They are supported by a variety of means, including pre-doctoral training fellowships provided by the National Institutes of Health and the National Science Foundation and other private and Yale-sponsored fellowships.

These federally funded fellowships pay tuition and stipend to meet both academic and living expenses. Foreign applicants are urged to apply for scholarships or funding from their own governments. A small number of Yale fellowships are available for outstanding foreign students.
