With the Yale IM Traditional program, you are learning with and from leaders in the field of internal medicine and its sub-specialties. Uniquely Yale, you are doing so in a disarming environment that fosters collaboration, questioning, learning, and growing. It was this combination that made it clear to me on my interview day that I would leave residency training poised for success in any path I chose. Choosing Yale was the best decision I could have ever made.

Senior Residents (PGY2 and above) Training Positions
Yale was my first choice and the absolute best choice I could have made. Important to me was its incredible fellowship match, easy opportunities to engage in the arts and humanities, and the chance to work with brilliant teachers. Most of all, I am thriving because it is a kind residency that values both my academic interests and time with my family and friends.
What immediately stuck out to me about Yale was the sense of belonging and camaraderie everyone shared with each other. Even through a virtual interview, the companionship and support was undeniable! This place truly brings together brilliant and compassionate people - and now I am grateful I get to call a lot of these people my own!
