Research Career Interest

Hospice and Palliative Medicine fellows and fellows in the combined tracks with Geriatrics and Nephrology who complete their clinical training have the option to continue into palliative care research focused training for two to three additional years at Yale. This involves applying to be part of the T32 training pathway. This is a program of intense training and mentoring in collaboration with our Yale Geriatrics colleagues. Funding is provided through a T32 training grant from the National Institute on Aging. T32 fellows can start new projects or potentially expand on earlier scholarly project work. We are excited to support this terrific opportunity and note that one of our HPM fellow alumni from 2019-20 is currently in the T32 pathway!
