Biography
Wafa Nabi is a resident physician in the Department of Internal Medicine at Yale University School of Medicine and Yale-New Haven Hospital. She completed her undergraduate studies at Harvard University and medical school at Case Western Reserve University, graduating with Honors with Distinction in Research. Dr. Nabi's professional interests include medical education and curricular development, having founded remote learning courses that were integrated into permanent research and scholarship curriculum at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. She was also recently appointed as a faculty member for the Harvard Macy Institute course titled “Transforming Your Teaching for the Virtual Environment.” She was recruited by Aquifer to help with the development of their online medical education tools for health professions students and their dissemination amongst educators via webinars and conferences. Her research interests include cardiology and medical education. Outside of the hospital, she enjoys tennis, painting, and hiking.
