Biography

Karthik is a resident in the Yale Internal Medicine Primary Care Residency Program, and a participant in the Global Health & Equity Distinction Pathway. His main academic interest is in population health equity, in particular screening for and interventions to address health-related social needs. He has worked on a variety of health equity-related issues, including access to nutritious food, community green space, affordable medications and lung cancer screening. He completed his undergraduate training at Washington University in St. Louis, where he graduated summa cum laude, and he received his M.D. from Washington University School of Medicine in 2022.
