Why did you decide to work at Yale School of Medicine?
The staff and academic affairs coordinator job was an opportunity for me to both transition into human resources and join a highly respected institution known for outstanding medical research and education programs.
How did you become interested in your line of work?
I spent years in the insurance industry, where I collaborated with a lot of people in human resources, became familiar with what they did, and realized I had the skills to do the same kind of work.
What is the most rewarding part of your career?
Helping people and being adept at what I do makes a difference in the lives of others.
What do you love about working at Yale?
The university encourages a healthy work-life balance, and I appreciate that.
What is your favorite pastime?
I love spending time outdoors, hiking, biking, or jogging. I also enjoy a day at the beach.

Embrace change! Change can be scary, but it's also necessary for growth and progress.
