Publications and Academic Initiatives

Make publications part of your trial strategy

Publications Office

The Yale Cardiovascular Research Group Publications Office is designed to facilitate the complete, ethical, and timely dissemination of clinical research results through high-impact peer-reviewed publications and podium presentations. The YCRG Publications Office facilitates structured collaboration between study investigators, committee members, and sponsors, while providing a scientifically independent resource to guide the creation and execution of a strategic publication plan.

JSCAI

Dr. Alexandra J. Lansky serves as editor in chief of JSCAI, the peer-reviewed, international, Gold Open Access official journal of the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography & Interventions. JSCAI covers all interventional cardiology subspecialities including coronary, peripheral, structural, and congenital heart disease. Dr. Lansky and Executive Editor Dominic Francese collaborate with the editorial board, SCAI staff, and Elsevier to publish high-impact science for the interventional cardiology community.

Academic Initiatives

The Yale Cardiovascular Research Group promotes academic initiatives to inform clinical practice guidelines and the design of future clinical trials. In collaboration with faculty members and industry partners, YCRG conducts systematic reviews and meta-analyses of published clinical trial data and individual participant data in various areas of cardiovascular medicine to assess the safety and performance of cardiovascular devices and neurologic risk associated with these interventions.
