Biography

Alice graduated from Cornell University with a double major in Biological Sciences (Molecular & Cell Biology) and Biology & Society (Public Policy). Her undergraduate research investigated the kinetics of retroviral assembly and budding in the laboratory of Professor Volker Vogt. Following graduation, she was a Fulbright Scholar at the University of Melbourne in Australia, where she studied the developmental processes of T cell selection with Professor Stephen J. Turner and Nobel Laureate Professor Peter C. Doherty.

Alice is currently an MD-PhD student at Yale performing her dissertation research in the laboratory of Professor Akiko Iwasaki. She is investigating the impact of maternal antiviral responses on fetal development during pregnancy.
