Biography
Milad Enferadi has graduated with degrees in Clinical Medical Sciences (Ph.D.), Medical Physics (Ph.D.), and Medical Radiation Engineering (B.Sc./M.Sc.). He received the CAMPEP-accredited Certificate in Medical Physics at Harvard Medical School.
He has collaborated on and conducted several projects involving nuclear medicine, nanomedicine, and radiation physics/biology. In his M.Sc. project, he successfully produced the auger emitter Sb-119 for targeted radionuclide therapy of micrometastases and small tumors.
Milad obtained his Ph.D. in Clinical Medical Sciences from Chiang Gung University/Chang Gung Memorial Hospital, where he investigated the radiosensitizing effect of ultrasmall GNP-PEG-cRGD in the ALTS1C1 tumor model through proton irradiation. Furthermore, he has been accredited as a medical physicist by the Iranian Ministry of Health and Medical Education. In 2022, he became a research trainee for clinical radioembolization dosimetry in the Department of Radiology at Mayo Clinic Florida.
He has been appointed as an associate research scientist at Yale Radiology. During his tenure at Yale, Dr. Enferadi has been actively involved in the production of radioisotopes for imaging applications and their use in the synthesis of radiopharmaceuticals. He also participates in the synthesis and quality analysis of radiopharmaceuticals for funded preclinical and clinical investigations.
