Biography

Dr. Amit Bardia is Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology at Yale New Haven Hospital. He received his medical degree from All India Institute of Medical Sciences in 2009. Following his Anesthesia residency at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, Dr. Bardia went on to complete both a fellowship in Cardiothoracic Anesthesia and a fellowship in Adult Critical Care Medicine. Subsequently, in 2016, Dr. Bardia joined the Yale University School of Medicine faculty as Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology. He is clinically involved in providing care to patients as a cardiac anesthesiologist and an intensivist.

His research interests include peri-operative outcomes research. Additionally, Dr. Bardia is actively involved in conducting multiple clinical trials. Dr. Bardia actively participates in educational initiatives related to mechanical circulatory devices and peri-operative echocardiography.
