Rajiv Radhakrishnan, MD, assistant professor of psychiatry, has been named co-medical director of the Yale Positron Emission Tomography (PET) Center.
Radhakrishnan will assist with medical coverage at the center, and his presence will better enable the center to meet medical needs, said David Matuskey, MD, the center’s interim co-director, in an email announcement.
Radhakrishnan has been affiliated with Yale since 2010, when he arrived as a postdoctoral fellow. He is a graduate of the Yale Psychiatry Residency Program and completed a schizophrenia/psychopharmacology research fellowship at Yale before joining the faculty. His research focuses on understanding the link between the cannabinoid system and psychosis using PET imaging.
