Noah Capurso, MD, assistant professor of psychiatry, has been appointed to a new role as director of didactic education for the Yale Psychiatry Residency Program.
Capurso will oversee the design, integration, coordination, and implementation of the didactic curriculum across the four years of the residency. This includes ensuring that the goals and objectives, content, pedagogy, and balance of topics covered reflect the program’s educational vision and core values as well as meet accreditation standards.
“I am looking forward to collaborating with residents and faculty as we continue to build an integrated didactic curriculum tailored to the needs of developing leaders in the field of psychiatry,” Capurso said.
Capurso is a 2015 graduate of the Yale Psychiatry Residency Program. He completed the department’s Addiction Psychiatry Fellowship Program in 2016.
