Lorinda Weaver

Lorinda has spent the last twenty years working in the education field. She was a pre-school teacher and a para professional which then led her to an early childhood council in Wallingford where she was a board member. In 2014 she and a fellow board member created a playgroup for families called Playful Cruisers. There they introduced families to one another and to the expectations of pre-k through play and routine. She most recently has spent the past five years at the Wallingford Board of Education where she was an Administrative Assistant to the Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum and Business Manager. Lorinda provided support to the intervention programs from pre-k to seniors in high school as well as to the functions of the Business Office.
