Linda Shields, C-TAGME

Linda began at the Yale-New Haven Medical Center in 1982, working in various positions for departments and sections including Development, Hematology, Laboratory Medicine and Human Resources. She joined Emergency Medicine as an employee of the Department of Emergency Services in December, 1993. Having assisted the faculty with gaining accreditation for and establishing the Emergency Medicine Residency program, she was the Residency Coordinator from the program's inception, there to recruit and welcome the first class in 1996, and see the program through 14 graduations. As of December, 2013 Linda returned to the Department of Laboratory Medicine in the position of Blood Bank Secretary, and also serves as the Transfusion Medicine Fellowship Program Coordinator.
