Biography

Andrew Esposito, MD, MHS (he/his) is a general surgery resident at Yale-New Haven Hospital. He is a Connecticut local who was born and raised in Ledyard, CT in the southeastern portion of the state. He earned a B.S. in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology at Yale University and was a member of the Yale University Track and Field team. After graduating he spent a year working as a medical assistant in Stamford, CT before completing a post-baccalaureate at Temple University in Philadelphia. He received his medical degree from the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University in 2018. He completed is Master's of Health Sciences at Yale School of Medicine in 2022 with a focus on video-based coaching in the operating room. He is interested in pursuing a career in colon and rectal surgery and surgical education.

Hobbies: wood working/turning, soccer, spending time with family/friends, reading
