A women's retreat center in Tennessee held a half-day training session November 20 with Scott Migdole, MSW, Assistant Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at Yale.

Migdole met with therapists at Brookhaven Retreat, a treatment center southeast of Knoxville, Tenn., where women are treated for depression, trauma, anxiety, substance use, and other behavioral challenges.

Migdole talked about therapeutic strategies, risk management, and treatment planning during his sessions with the therapists. He has been a consultant at Brookhaven for about five years, and regularly visits the center to discuss national trends in behavioral health, review standards of care, and establish clinical strategies for patients, according to Brookhaven's website.

“We are whole-heartedly committed to providing clients with the absolute highest quality possible. In order to do this, we have consultants like Mr. Migdole, who make sure we are serving the public properly and exceedingly well," said Jacqueline Dawes, Brookhaven's founder. "People put their trust in us and their well-being means everything. Scott Migdole has been instrumental in our success and we are fortunate and grateful to have him on board. His expertise and involvement are essential to our mission.”
