The CBMH first annual symposium was held in May 2023, with over 100 in-person participants ranging from trainees to senior faculty. It was a wonderful opportunity to learn about the impactful projects in our community.
The CBMH recognizes the generosity of Dean Nancy Brown and Provost Scott Strobel for their investment in this innovative and collaborative pilot grant program.
The funded projects are:
- Maintaining the Antidepressant Effects of Ketamine in Parkinson's with CBT.
Team: Drs. Sanacora, Santini, Holmes & Tinaz. Funding $100,000
- The Neural Architecture of Visual Hallucinations in Lewy Body Disease and Psychosis.
Team: Drs. Fredericks & Powers. Funding $275,000
- Take Care & Control (TCC) - Achieving Equity and Effectiveness in Preventing Brain and Heart Disease.
Team: Drs. Kernan, Sarpong & Forman. Funding $275,000
- Probing Avoidance and Trauma Memory Oscillations to Identify PTSD Circuit Targets.
Team: Drs. Kaye, Sivaraju & Harpaz-Rotem. Funding $275,000
We are especially proud of the diverse professional and personal backgrounds these investigators represent. The teams are highly collaborative and interdisciplinary, consistent with the mission of CBMH. We look forward to seeing the development of these ideas over time and will keep everyone informed of their progress.
