Welcome to the Academic Affairs portion of the Office of Academic and Professional Development at Yale School of Medicine. Our mission is to support the academic careers of our faculty from the time they join our community until they retire.
In addition to fostering career development and mentorship programs, we work together with leadership, faculty, and administrative staff to develop, interpret, and implement University and Yale School of Medicine policies and practices that govern the essential employment understandings, as summarized in the Faculty Handbook.
