    Biography

    Gregory R. Roytman, DC, PhD is an Associate Research Scientist in the Department of Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation. Primary research interests include biomechanical study of the musculoskeletal system using computational methodologies. These methodologies include, but not limited to finite element analysis, motion capture, and deep learning. Main applications that Dr. Roytman works with are in rehabilitation, medical devices, and conservative therapies for musculoskeletal complaints. In addition to his research, Dr. Roytman continues to practice as a chiropractor at the West Haven VA Medical Center within the Veterans Health Administration (VHA).
