Biography

Dr. Michael Jureller is a general surgeon, specializing in minimally invasive GI surgery including the stomach, esophagus, hernia and oncology. He completed his medical education at Tel Aviv University Sackler, residency at Montefiore Medical Center and culminated his training in advanced GI surgery at Methodist Richardson Medical Center. Dr. Jureller is experienced in managing conditions such as esophageal disease and hiatal hernia and has contributed to several publications and book chapters in the field of gastrointestinal surgery. He is active in the Surgical Society of the Alimentary Tract and holds positions on several editorial boards. He has been recognized with awards including Chief Resident of the Year and Resident of the Year from Montefiore Medical Center.
