The week of August 21st saw a diverse and enthusiastic PA class of 2019 arrive on Yale’s medical campus. Orientation week introduced the students to Yale and the greater new haven community through a series of powerful events designed to create awareness of the relationship between social forces and health. One noteworthy orientation week activity took place at the Adam Kreiger Adventure Program

in New Haven, CT. Participants in this team building adventure program included PA program faculty, staff, and students. The goal is for attendees to learn something about themselves, others, and the environment around them through communication and team work. These skills are invaluable for health care professionals and the future leaders Yale aims to train.
