Eden Anonye, a third-year student in the Physician Associate Program, has been awarded a Joyce Nichols Memorial Scholarship by the PA Foundation of the American Academy of Physician Associates. Joyce Nichols was the first woman PA and the first Black PA in the country, in 1970. PA Foundation scholarships support PA students who demonstrate a passion for the profession and health care-related community service.
