The Yale AIDS program continues to welcome research projects that are beneficial for patients, science and medicine, from:

basic research (Elite controllers, mitochondrial dysfunction, cellular changes with aging, etc.) to
clinical research (HIV and Alcohol, Transition of inmate to primary care, Timing of ART initiation, etc.) to
clinical trials (No Nukes, New ART agents, Genotype testing, etc.).

The resident will be encouraged to develop, conduct and present a research project by the end of the third year.
