Started 1995, the Center for Outcomes Research & Evaluation (CORE) has been a pioneer in the field of outcomes research and health care policy. The investigators and staff members of the Center are engaged in a broad spectrum of activities from analysis of Medicare data sets to clinical trials and clinical database management. CORE is also the home of the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute-funded Center for Cardiovascular Outcomes Research.
The Chagas Disease Alliance at Yale is a network of allied researchers, healthcare providers, and public health professionals working to advance basic and translational Chagas disease research, strengthen screening and diagnosis of Chagas disease, and provide comprehensive clinical care to patients with a positive Chagas disease diagnosis. The Chagas Disease Alliance ‘thinks globally and acts locally,’ with ongoing research collaborations, patient care, policy advocacy, and capacity building efforts both in New Haven and across Latin America.
