Maurizio Chioccioli, PhD, is an Assistant Professor in Genetics and Comparative Medicine at Yale School of Medicine. Dr. Chioccioli started his lab in September 2023 and he is primarily focused on unraveling the intricate mechanisms underlying lung injury repair, particularly in the alveolus, a specialized structure responsible for gas exchange.
