Biography
Kristina Burkholder (Mycek), MS, CAS, is a Senior Project Manager for the Quality Measurement team at CORE. Before joining CORE, she was a project leader in the Health Ratings Center at Consumer Reports. There, she managed multidisciplinary teams made up of statisticians, clinicians, editors, and patient advocates, to create patient-centered products as well as design, develop, and publicly release novel health care quality measures, including composites. She aims to continue her efforts in communicating variation in provider performance to consumers, as well as develop and reevaluate measures for public reporting. She received her undergraduate and graduate degrees at the University of Albany/SUNY.
