Prostate Cancer: What You Need to Know

New Haven, Conn. —Smilow Cancer Hospital at Yale-New Haven and Yale Cancer Center present a free discussion for the public, Prostate Cancer: What You Need to Know, on Saturday, October 3, 2009 from 9:00 a.m. – noon in The Anlyan Center at 300 Cedar Street in New Haven. The event will be led by a multidisciplinary team of experts who will present the latest information on the impact of new technology and emerging knowledge on prostate cancer prevention, screening, detection, and treatment.

Presentations will be made by members of the Yale Cancer Center Prostate and Urologic Cancers Program and will address topics such as Current Treatment Updates, Concerns on Incontinence and Impotence, and Survivorship and Support for Men with Prostate Cancer. The presentations will be followed by a panel discussion. Panelists will include Dr. John Colberg, Dr. Kevin Kelly, Susanne Lee-Baldassini, Dr. Dinesh Singh, Meredith Wallace, and Dr. James Yu.
