Alumni in Florida flocked to two sold-out events featuring Yale speakers in late January. Faculty from the Section of Geriatrics collaborated with the Yale Club of Southwest Florida and the Yale Club of the Palm Beaches to present on “The Science of Aging: What You Can Do for Your Health and Healthcare” on January 21 and 22. Organized by YSM development officer Erin Shreve, the events drew over a hundred attendees and have sparked conversations with individuals who may ultimately provide philanthropic support for the pathbreaking work on aging being done at Yale.
