Research Scholars Program (RSP)

The Research Scholars Program (RSP) at Yale is an exciting opportunity for Residency Candidates with substantial research backgrounds to continue their research while pursuing clinical residency training in anesthesiology. The goal of the program is to recruit and retain candidates having extraordinary qualifications in basic science and clinical research. Once admitted to the program, trainees receive guided preceptorship support during the CA-1 through CA-3 years of residency, and they also receive supplemental stipend support which is provided by the department. Some of these highly qualified individuals go onto training slots in the post-doctoral T32 program after the completion of their residency.
