Sawubona Healing Circle

The Sawubona Healing Circles support Black people, first-responders, essential workers, and frontline healthcare workers, in addressing the disproportionate negative impact of both the COVID-19 and ongoing racism pandemics in the Black community. The Association of Black Psychologists (ABPsi) created Sawubona Healing Circles to support Black people due to the disproportionate negative impacts of both the COVID-19 and ongoing racism pandemics in the Black community. Sawubona (an ancient Zulu greeting: “we see you”) utilizes an Afrocentric model to provide a healing space for Black people.
