Nabeel Nabulsi, PhD, Deputy Director of Chemistry; Chief of Quality Control and Regulatory Affairs, and Songye Li, PhD, Associate Research Scientist, Yale University PET Center, were invited by Dr. Xiaoai Wu to serve as Guest Lecturers for the Department of Nuclear Medicine, West China Hospital, Sichuan University (June 2019). Nabulsi’s presentation focused on quality assurance, quality control and compliance with regulatory requirements during radiotracer production. Li discussed PET Center research on the development of novel 18F-labelled SV2A radiotracers for imaging synaptic density in the living human brain, and the development of 18F-labelled 11β-HSD1radiotracers and translation into human use.
