Overview
Trevor Nezwek, DO, is an orthopaedic surgeon specializing in adult hip and knee reconstruction. He earned his medical degree from Nova Southeastern University, where he graduated first in his class. During medical school, he was elected to the Gold Humanism Honor Society in recognition of his commitment to compassionate patient care and was actively involved in community service and international medical outreach.
He completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at Broward Health Medical Center, where he served as chief resident during his final year, followed by fellowship training in adult hip and knee reconstruction at Montefiore Medical Center, affiliated with Albert Einstein College of Medicine, in New York.
Dr. Nezwek treats a broad range of conditions affecting the hip and knee, including osteoarthritis, inflammatory arthritis, avascular necrosis, and post-traumatic arthritis. He also treats adult orthopaedic trauma and specializes in primary, complex, and revision hip and knee replacement. He utilizes contemporary surgical techniques and technologies, including robotic-assisted and computer-navigated joint replacement, and performs direct anterior total hip replacement.
Dr. Nezwek is committed to providing excellent, individualized care with the goal of helping patients regain mobility, independence, and quality of life.
