Biography

Postdoctoral Associate in the laboratory of Flora Vaccarino at Yale, Alex studies brain development, Somatic Mosaicism, and Autism Spectrum Disorder in vitro using induced Pluripotent Stem Cells (iPSC). He obtained his PhD in Paris, working in the laboratory of Patrick Charnay in the Biological Institute of the Ecole Normale Supérieure (ENS), and has a MS in Neuroscience (Paris University UPMC) and a Bioingeneering Degree from INSA (Lyon, France). Alex interests revolve around developmental neuroscience and stem cells biology. He worked on adult neurogenesis in mice and cortical development in iPSCs and is familiar with genomic projects. He is also an active member of the Yale Postdoctoral Association and dance salsa on his free time.
