Biography

Ann Johnson is an MD-PhD candidate at Yale School of Medicine and Yale School of Public Health. Her research focuses on the integration of mental health, substance use, and HIV/TB care in high-burden settings, with fieldwork in South Africa and Ukraine. A former Fulbright Fellow and NIH Fogarty Global Health Scholar, she has led multiple implementation science studies. She collaborates with national health departments and policy groups to improve access to mental health care.
