Cancer is a solvable problem. In cancer we get specific mutations that drive the formation of cancer that make them distinct from normal cells.... We like to exploit cancer-associated defects…so we can selectively target cancer over normal tissue. Mutations in DNA repair lead to cancer formation but they also represent Achilles heels that we can exploit for therapeutic gain.
