Transition to the PPMS Software System

We are excited to announce a significant upgrade to our facility's operations that will enhance your experience and streamline our services. The Chemical Metabolism Core (CMC) has transitioned to a new Core Facility Management System called PPMS.

PPMS is a state-of-the-art facility management system designed to simplify the process of scheduling, accessing, and managing our services. This transition will bring several benefits, including an improved user experience, enhanced resource management, and greater efficiency in requesting and authorizing financial accounts (COAs).

We kindly request all users to take the following steps to ensure a smooth transition:

1. Create Your PPMS Account: Starting immediately, you can create your PPMS account by visiting PPMS Account Registration.
2. Request Authorization to Financial Accounts (COAs): Once your PPMS account is created, you can request authorization to financial accounts (COAs) relevant to your projects. (Detailed instructions on how to register your account and request Authorization of Financial accounts are available on the attached Quick Start Guide.)
3. Sign in to CMC PPMS to begin submitting project requests starting Oct 1st, 2023: https://ppms.us/yale/?CMC

The transition to PPMS is part of our commitment to providing you with the best possible experience when utilizing the Chemical Metabolism Core (CMC). This system will offer improved transparency, tracking, and reporting capabilities, ensuring efficient management of resources and services.
